Geert Vaes is a performer and maker who is now doing a research in the field of Radio by setting up Radio de la Liberte with co-collaborator Bart De Wildeman.

Hello Dianne and Nicky/Kim,
We are also an interdisciplinary meeting place, now meeting around the beautiful concept of sound.
Trying to break open a bit the format of radio, performing and doing spontaneous live sound manipulation.
We noticed it can be very fruitful to also have people around who are more into fields we are not so accustomed with.
We have now a pool of people mainly busy with writing, spoken word/acting, music.
Until now, one dancer passed by and three laptop-electronics, opening our ears to even more possibilities.
Because we are a research-project, this opening of the ears is very important to us.
So, to make a long story short:
Every Saturday between 23 April and 28 May, from 19:00 until 23:00, people are free to come and join the RADIODELALIBERTE.
It is also possible to send audio (mp3 or other files easily recognised by Mac) or even text you want to have spoken to: info@radiodelaliberte.be
